Scanning Order Form
Manual image restoration can be performed on any of your
digital image files whether they are from our slide
scanning service, photo scanning service or your digital camera. Manual image
restoration and enhancement includes multiple techniques
utilized by trained image enhancers. These techniques
may include adjustments of: color balance, levels, curves,
contrast, saturation, shadows & highlights, and
cropping. We also use a variety of tools to take out
scratches or blotches in your images. All of
these techniques are employed on each and every picture
on a individual basis to ensure the highest quality
output.
Almost every 35mm slide we encounter
has deteriorated in some form. There are a multitude
of defects that arise through the aging process. The
most common ailment for 35mm slides is fading.
If you would like a free sample to see what we can do,
just let us know.
If you have digital image files from your digital
camera, DVD Your Memories can do all the
same enhancements on those pictures as well. Everyone
has experienced leaving your digital camera in the wrong
mode and having all your pictures come out
either too light or too dark. When those "too dark"
pictures are of your wedding, that's when you need to
call DVD Your Memories.
DVD Your Memories
charges a flat rate of 99¢ per image for most corrections (color balance, levels,
brightness, contrasting, dust & scratches removal).

Slide Scanning Process
Slides are first cleaned with compressed air. This removes any extra dust from the slide. Slides are then previewed in the scanning software program where the cropping and other adjustments are set. All slides are scanned numerically by box marking (ie: FarmHouse_001.jpg).
After all the slide scanning is finished we go through each 35mm slide one-by-one and make sure that it is oriented properly (people are standing upright) and not flipped (words appearing mirrored).
Once all the slides have been scanned and inspected, they will be burned to our special 100 year archival DVDs. These disks are regarded as the best medium for long-term storage.
Digital Photo Frame
Once your slides or photos have been scanned, for only $250, you can display them all in one place with our digital photo frame.
Our frame has a 10.4 inch screen with full color 800 x 600 resolution. This is a perfect way to show off your images from a recent vacation, or watch your family photos progress through the generations. It also holds video clips with sound that can play as part of a slideshow. Our frame includes a remote to control the playback of your pictures and it supports all major memory cards so you can easily change the images that it displays.
